Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

TEKHAF Trading PLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong understanding of PHP and the CodeIgniter 4 framework to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of our web applications that meet our business needs. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless user experiences and efficient application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter 4.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following established coding standards.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications & Education:

• MSC/BSC in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, PHP/Python/C#, JAVA, etc.) are a plus.

Required Experience:

• 4/6 years of experience in full-stack development
• Proven experience in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, multi-company environment is a plus.

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in PHP: Deep understanding of PHP fundamentals, object-oriented programming principles, and best practices.
2. Code Igniter 4 Expertise: Experience developing applications using the code Igniter 4 framework, including its core components, libraries, and MVC architecture.
3. Database Skills: Strong knowledge of database design and experience working with MySQL (or other relevant database systems). Ability to write efficient SQL queries.
4. Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
5. Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
6. Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
7. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Agile/Scrum Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience: Industry Experience in Human Resource Management System
• API Development: Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• DevOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of web application security vulnerabilities and best practices for secure coding.
• Linux/Unix: Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Caching Technologies: Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
• Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• E-commerce Platform Experience: If applicable, experience with e-commerce platforms like Magento or WooCommerce.
