About the Role: 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety in an industrial setting.

Industry: THG PACKAGING AND PRINTING

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and local codes.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime in operations.
• Supervise junior electricians and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Option 2: Diploma or Certificate from a recognized TVET College with more than 6 years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a carton factory or packaging industry is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with machinery and production line electrical systems.
