SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Our Company Globe Motors PLC is a subsidiary company of VIPAR Auto Ltd and legally registered company in Ethiopia to operate a CKD/SKD assembly of Bajaj brand three wheelers and four wheelers: Our company is looking to hire a sales and marketing director for its operation based in Addis Ababa.   

A Sales & Marketing Director is supposed to oversee and strategizes the entire sales & marketing process, focusing on achieving sales targets, leading and developing a sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction, while also managing budgets and inventory. : 

Thus the candidate is expected to : 

1. Possess a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in marketing, automotive or engineering or related with 8 Years’ Experience for Degree holder and 6 Years’ experience for Masters Graduates. 

2. At least 4-6 years of related industry experience at managerial level for Degree and Masters level  respectively 

3. Proven experience in two and three wheel sales & marketing is desirable 

Additional skill & experience expectations in Leadership and Management:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives. 

• Goal Setting and Achievement: Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas. 

• Performance Management: Coach sales & marketing people on best practices, provide advice, and identify areas for improvement. 

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand the company’s market presence. 

• Sales Forecasting: Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters. 

• Conflict Resolution: Address customer issues and concerns, and mediate disputes between customers and sales staff.
