Eneho Fikir is a local charity dedicated to improving education outcomes, empowering communities, and fostering sustainable development through school and community based programs. We focus on education, training, school and community development, and job creation for youth and mothers. Our organization is seeking a Program Manager to join our passionate team and contribute to our mission of making a meaningful impact on the socio economic development of our society through our educational and humanitarian programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue funding opportunities from local and international donors.

Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies to support organizational goals.

Write compelling project proposals and grant applications to secure funding.

Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of education and community development programs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, community leaders, and partners.

Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure they align with organizational objectives and achieve desired outcomes.

Prepare timely progress and impact reports for members, other stakeholders and donors.

Stay informed about trends, opportunities, and challenges in the humanitarian and development sector & act accordingly.

Assist the director in the overall planning and execution of the organization’s activities.

Represent the organization when assigned by the director.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field.

At least Eight (8) years of experience in program management, fundraising, and/or proposal writing in the nonprofit or development sector.

Proven track record of securing funding and managing donor relationships.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Passionate about driving social change and committed to the mission of Eneho Fikir. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management tools.

Fluency in Amharic and English (both written and spoken). Employment status: Contract with the possibility of extension Preferred Skills:

Experience in designing and implementing education and job creation programs. Experience in resource mobilization and funding access

Knowledge of the local context and challenges in Ethiopia’s education and development sectors.
