Manager – Supply Chain Department

Job Summary

The purpose of this job is to develop strategy, policies and procedures for supply chain services; to plan, organize, and direct the operations of the department and ensure their effective implementation; to oversee the availability and optimal use of material resources through the activities of procurement and management of finished goods, work in progress, spare parts and other supplies to ensure the smooth running and an uninterrupted operation in the company.

Education

• BA or MA degree in Management, Supply Chain Management or MBA       

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years for BA degree and 6 years for MA Degree relevant work experience out of which at least 2 years in supervisory/managerial position.

Desirable Skills

• Good leadership skill and emotional intelligence,

• Good data analysis and presentation skill,

• Strategic thinking and strategic planning skill, 

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks,

• Strong team player that can work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders

• Computer literate with advanced skill in using MS Office, especially Excel and Word,

• Good verbal and written communication skills both in the Amharic and English languages.
