Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the business and developing the workforce in a proactive manner to be able to deliver today’s objectives, as well as preparing and adjusting to meet the skills and capability needs of the future business, with a consistent goal of increasing the quality of the business’s resource pool. Responsible for local talent and performance management strategy, as well as defining and managing the business’s learning and development strategy, including Leadership Development, in close collaboration with the central team in charge of employee training and education.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Together with the HRBPs, acts as a single point of contact for HR aspects for the employees and managers in the BU.

Supports HRBPs on the delivery of HR processes and the implementation of HR programs (recruitment, learning & development activities,…) at the BU.

Ensures the smooth execution of United Beverages’ on-boarding and off-boarding processes.

Supports HRBPs in managing performance improvement plan (PIP) and performance management process.

Manages employee relations, employees’ grievances, and disciplines in basic to low-complex contexts

Works closely with HRBP to develop and implement solutions to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

Works with HRBP to provide initiatives and improvements for current and new HR/company’s policies, processes, and programs

Weekly reports to HRBP on assigned tasks and provide timely and periodic reports/ statistics within the scope of work

Manage legal compliance (such as pension administration) for Plant employees.

Learning & Development

Support the performance management processes & culture, liaise with the learning and Development work unit
-
Guide & ensure management of talent and poor performers with the Line Managers for the respective work unit by aligning with the HOD and L&D work unit.
Work with HRBP and Hiring Manager to organize new starter inductions for all new starters, communicating with everyone involved to ensure a smooth start. -
Organize the production, maintenance, and distribution of all the Learning and Development tools.

Organize workshop venues and assist employees with travel arrangements where necessary.

Establish positive working relationships within the business to influence, challenge, and support the ongoing L&D Strategy

 Take responsibility for the coordination of the social events driven by HR, such as Holiday parties, team-building activities, etc.

Support managers, HOD, and employees in the process of PM,

Workforce Planning & Org Design
-
Developing the HR agenda for the respective business unit by collaborating with HODs and the HR Head.

Developing HR strategies, policies, and practices in consultation with the HR Head.

Improving and monitoring employee productivity.
-
Improving relations between staff and employers by designing and implementing involvement strategies that support the employee relations strategies of UB.

Support in leading recruitment efforts for the respective business units.

Work closely with the head of departments to have a better understanding of the business and about People to provide HR solutions.

In consultation with the HR Head and the legal advisor, handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and other administrative problems according to United Beverages’ policies and procedures.

Establish and maintain effective “win–win” working relationships with employees and their representatives (where applicable e.g. union union-represented employees) through an environment that fosters communication and service delivery. Â

Promote and foster an environment of open communication between the business unit and HR.

Co-produces periodic monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as well as other reports on HR matters. (Headcount, Training analysis, Recruitment update).

Required Education/Experience and Key SkillsÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Public Administration and Development Management, or any other Business-related field of study
- Minimum of three(3) years progressive experience, preferably in the FMCG Industry.
- Knowledge of relevant legal proclamations and policies.
- Very good IT skills, experience in ERP, SAP, etc..
