As a subject teacher at Pharo School Assosa, you will have the opportunity to be a changemaker in your students’ academic and personal growth. We are expanding—and looking for outstanding teachers in the following subject areas:Â

 Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Ignite Learning: Deliver dynamic, student-centered lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love for lifelong learning.Â
- Innovate Curriculum: Design and implement high-quality, engaging lesson plans aligned with national and Pharo standards.Â
- Drive Student Growth: Use modern, formative assessment tools to measure progress and tailor instruction to individual needs.Â
- Lead Beyond the Classroom: Contribute to extracurricular programs, community events, and student mentorship initiatives.Â
- Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the broader community to support student success.Â
- Champion Student Well-being: Help students develop holistically—intellectually, emotionally, and ethically.Â
- MSc/MA/BA/BSc in the relevant subject or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with subject specializationÂ
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience (3 years for Performing/Visual Arts teachers), ideally in high-performing international or private schoolsÂ
- PGDT (Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching) – mandatoryÂ
Skills and Experience:Â
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skillsÂ
- Proficient in using digital tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.)Â
- Demonstrated use of student-centered and tech-integrated teaching strategiesÂ
- Strong grasp of data-driven instruction and assessment practicesÂ
