GARMENT PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are a new garment manufacturing facility, ready to begin operations soon. As we prepare to launch, we are building a dedicated team of professionals to support the factory setup and ongoing operations. Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Garment Production Manager to provide managerial leadership to the Production team (cut, sew to pack, Embroidery, Fusing and Printing) to create a conducive working environment and make optimum use of resources to produce garments that meet the customers’ quality, timeliness and quantity specifications, within the factory’s cost and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting Production Targets, based on the production plan, annual Operations performance targets
• Monitor pre-production preparation progress
• Review daily reports establish process for regularly communicating progress to related departments as needed
• Seek an organize support from other Production Units/ relevant functions
• Re-allocate workers across the Production Department & request extra support from technical support team
• Plan programs to heighten Production members’ quality mindset, quality monitoring, and quality inspection with the support of quality department.
• Working on cost reduction mechanisms on main raw materials, garment trims, garment accessories, energy, excess costs and consumables.
• Creating conducive work environment on safety, payment and incentive schemes and compliance
•  Implementation of TPS concepts, tools, and always aware of operator engagements
• Managerial leadership of immediate teams using collaborative teamwork, SMART goal, recognition & reward

Qualifications:

• BSC in Garment Engineering, Industrial Engineering and other related fields
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in garment, textile or related manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge on layouts, SMV and Efficiency

Experience: 

• Minimum 10 years of experience on Garment Industries and on the manufacturing Industries on supervisor level and at least 4 years as Garment Production Manager.
