Food & Beverage Control Manager

A leading Cafe is seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Control Manager to oversee cost control, inventory management, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have experience in F&B cost control, procurement, and stock management , ensuring efficiency and profitability. 

Duties and responsibilities 

To be responsible for the service and wellbeing of our guests.

• To assist in the set up and closedown of the restaurant.

• Ensure all orders are taken accurately and items are received in a timely manner.

• To support the team in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the service. 

• Ensure that the preparation and presentation of each section is of a high standard, and is in line with the standards set.

• Serve guests to the highest standard whilst keeping the guests expectations at the forefront of your mind.

• To keep your mise en place levels up to the required level whilst rotating stock. 

• Be mindful of waste, always seek help to utilise all stock and minimise waste. 

• Report any faults or defects as you see them.

• Maintain a high standard of restaurant and back of house cleanliness and hygiene practices.

• Ensure that you are correctly dressed in your uniform.

• Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments in the hotel.

• To train, where necessary, any staff in the restaurant.

• To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.

• Ensure that while you undertake your role you abide by the Health and Safety at Work and safe system of work appropriate to your role.

• Any other tasks as delegated by your Line Manager.

• Proven experience in F&B cost control or a similar role for at least five years.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of inventory software and cost management.

• Attention to detail and ability to optimize resources.
