Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Officer to join Equipment, maintenance and feet manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle management: Ensuring vehicles are available and ready for use, and that they are maintained and inspected regularly 

  • Driver management: Supervising drivers, setting goals, and reviewing performance 

  • Vehicle tracking: Maintaining a log of vehicle movement, mileage, and condition 

  • Accident management: Handling accidents and repairs, and insurance cases 

  • Fleet compliance: Ensuring the fleet complies with regulations 

  • Fleet reporting: Analyzing fleet performance data and reporting to upper management 

  • Fleet policy development: Establishing fleet policies and procedures 

  • Fleet purchasing: Procuring vehicles through purchase, lease, or other means 

  • Fleet maintenance: Partnering with repair and maintenance shops, and scheduling maintenance and servicing 

  • Fleet security: Securing vehicles, drivers, and other assets 

  • Fleet cost management: Reducing unnecessary expenses and increasing fuel efficiency 

Qualifications:

  • BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, management, Logistics and Supply chain and other related fields with minimum 4 years experiences.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
