About Us

Asociación Amigos de Silva is an international humanitarian organization registered in Ethiopia since 2007. Our mission is to bridge the gap between developing and developed countries through projects focused on water supply, education, food security, and health infrastructure. We aim for sustainability in all our initiatives, empowering communities to manage and maintain the resources provided.

We are looking for an experienced Driver with a strong commitment to safety and reliability to support our operations. If you have a passion for facilitating transportation for humanitarian initiatives and ensuring smooth logistics, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Safety operates vehicles for the transportation of staff, goods and visitors as required.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure vehicles are well-mainstained, clean, and fueled.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and report on vehicle usage and maintenance needs
• Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational policies regarding vehicle operation
• Maintain regular communication with the logistics team and report any issues promptly 

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safety procedures in Ethiopia.
• Fluent in English and Amharic (both written and spoken), with proficiency in spoken Oromo.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Willing and able to travel to various locations across Ethiopia, including regions beyond Addis Ababa, as required by the role.
