Bid Evaluation Methodology:
Technical criteria 90% (out of 100%):
- Technical competence in developing and executing social media/digital messaging campaigns, particularly in health or nutrition sectors (40%).
- Knowledge of current trends in social media and digital marketing strategies, and the benefits of vegetable consumption, healthy diets, and related topics (20%).
- Experience of content creation (visual and textual) optimized for various digital platforms, utilizing analytics and reporting to assess campaign performance, and collaborating with local influencers and community stakeholders (20%).
- Communication skills (in English and Amharic), capacity for independent work, and community management strategies to foster audience engagement and interaction (10%)
- Financial criteria 10% (out of 100%): Total cost comparison per World Veg Procurement Regulations.
Bid Opening Process
- The bid opening will follow a one-step process. All bidding documents must be securely sealed in a single email as required.
- If necessary, bidders may be invited to attend the bid opening at the time, date, and venue specified by World Veg.
- Bids must remain valid for ■ 60 days □ 90 days □ 120 days from bid opening date until the evaluation recommendation is approved. If the procurement is not awarded within this period, World Veg may request an extension of the validity period.

Bidder Requirements and Documentation
Bidders must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Essential:
- An MSc or equivalent degree in a relevant field of Communication and science such as digital, social media, nutrition, public health, social sciences, marketing and communication.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social media/digital messaging campaigns, particularly in health or nutrition sectors.
- Proficiency in content creation, including visual and textual materials optimized for various platforms and relevant audience sub-groups.
- Strong skills in analytics and reporting to assess campaign performance and engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with current trends in social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with local influencers and community stakeholders.
- Experience in community management and strategies to foster audience engagement and interaction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the benefits of vegetable consumption, healthy diets and related topics.
- Knowledge of local contexts and practices related to food consumption.
- Proficiency in English and Amharic
- Desirable:
- Proficiency in other languages spoken in project locations .
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the context of the project locations.
How To Apply
Bidders must submit the following documents:
A technical proposal including a brief plan for developing the campaign strategy document; content calendar; visual and textual content; engagement plan (max. 2-3 pages) and CVs with list of publications of the lead scientist and all proposed team members.
A cover letter specifying the team’s suitability for and interest in the assignment.
A financial offer including disaggregated by salary of lead scientist and other team members, supplies, travel, other costs, and indirect costs for the assignment in USD.
Bidding documents must be in English. If applicable, they may also be in Amharic, but in case of any discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
Where required, World Veg may request bidders to provide the original qualification documents for verification.
