Depot Supervisor-Hawassa(re-advertized)

Under the direction of the Warehouse (WH) Operations Manager, the Depot Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and overseeing WH operation staff and drivers to achieve company goals. The role focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction and depot profitability by effectively managing the movement of finished products, empty crates, and other containers while ensuring proper arrangement and safety of company property within the assigned depot.

Key Responsibilities

1. Depot Management
   • Develop and implement weekly and monthly storage and delivery schedules.
   • Assess and optimize storage capacity against inventory policies.
   • Ensure warehouse security and enforce safety procedures.
   • Maintain depot facilities by coordinating necessary repairs and improvements.
2. Customer Satisfaction
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales teams and agents.
   • Align depot working hours with sales needs for service efficiency.
   • Continuously improve processes to enhance customer experience.
   • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
3. System & Resource Utilization
   • Ensure 100% SAP utilization for stock management and reporting.
   • Perform daily stock reconciliations and minimize variances.
   • Optimize storage space and implement FIFO (First In, First Out).
   • Coordinate fleet maintenance and ensure efficient truck loading/unloading.
4. Reporting & Compliance
   • Maintain accurate records of stored materials.
   • Provide daily stock movement and sales reports.
   • Submit weekly breakage and POS stock movement reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in depot/warehouse operations or logistics.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP or other warehouse management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Having bottle/crate experience is very crucial
