Cleaner

 Cleans offices, premises, toilets, corridors, conference halls etc. of the company.

1. Waxes and polishes floors and furniture.

2. Washes and cleans walls and windows panes.

3.  Cleans carpets and rugs using vacuum cleaner or other cleaning equipment.

4.  Checks faucets, sinks, and toilets; if they are not in order reports immediately to supervisor for repair.

5. Handles carefully office equipment, machines and appliances while dusting and cleaning.

6.  Sees to it that all lights, heaters etc.. are turned off; water taps closed and office property locked before leaving the premises.

7. Keeps in good order equipment materials supplied for cleaning.

8. Collects, disposes and/or incinerated waste.

9. Ensures correct application of detergents and cleaning chemicals to avoid waste and damage to surfaces.

10. Performs other related functions as required.
