Assistant Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision of construction works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.

• Monitor contractors’ performance and compliance with Ethiopian construction regulations.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including client, contractors, and government authorities.

• Assist in reviewing design modifications and contract documents.

• Ensure safety and environmental regulations are strictly followed

Place of Assignment: Butajira

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience (experiences both in road and building projects)

• Strong understanding of Ethiopian construction laws and standards.

•  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software.

• Knowledge of construction quality control and materials testing.

• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
