ABOUT US– Sabahar PLC is a textile company which produces hand woven textiles to sell locally and internationally. 

Sabahar Plc. would like to invite qualified and interested applicants for the following position          
                              

Job Title: Cost Accountant 

Reports to: Finance Manager

Terms of Employment: Permanent

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Salary: Negotiable                                         

Major duties:

• Calculate and analyze manufacturing cost & prepare regular reports comparing standard cost with actual production cost.
• Monitor and control raw materials and finished goods inventory movement.
• Prepare and analyze cost records and monthly cost report.
• Compare raw materials consumption with finished goods quantity.
• Lead, coach and assist the team and evaluate their performance.

requirements:

• BA degree in accounting and finance
• 5 years and above direct work experience in the cost accountant position.
• Experience from manufacturing company is preferable.
• Excellent proficiency English and Amharic.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Excel and its application.
• Significant hands on experience using inventory software /ERP/
• Must be a team player who also work well independently.
