Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Forman to join our engineering team. The Forman will be responsible for overseeing Performing Assisting the superintendent with overseeing and management of onsite personnel and subcontractors and supervising all features of construction project from planning to implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the superintendent with overseeing and management of onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Assisting all features of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocating resources for assigned projects and operating heavy equipment
• Organizing tools, plant, machinery, materials and workers, and Assisting construction activities
• Recognizing materials and equipment that could be needed and ensuring construction is executed accurately, following plans and specifications
• Ensuring workers are qualified and well-informed about their roles and creating assignments according to skill sets
• Coordinating and supervising construction workers, finding ways to prevent problems from happening
• Helping the General Forman to negotiate contracts and securing permits and license
• Selecting tools and materials also checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.

 Qualifications:

• Diploma in construction related fields or BA degree  in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in related fields.
• Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening Afan oromo is mandatory for applicants who apply for Ambo and speaking Af-somali is an advantageous for applicants who apply for Jigjiga.
• Experience on Construction environment is mandatory.
