Host/Hostess – Bar & Restaurant

The Chill Spot Bar and Restaurant is looking for professional and personable Hosts/Hostesses to be the welcoming face of our venue. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow of service in both the Bar and Restaurant areas. Placement will be based on prior experience, with a preference for those who have worked in Indian restaurants for restaurant-area assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage the waitlist and seating plan to maximize efficiency
• Take and manage reservations via phone or booking systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
• Communicate effectively with waitstaff and management regarding guest flow and special requests
• Handle guest inquiries, special occasions, and complaints with grace and professionalism
• Promote a positive and friendly atmosphere

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or Indian cuisine setting
• Energetic, attractive, and well-groomed appearance
• Excellent manners and a naturally welcoming personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a busy environment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
