Robit International Business Group PLC, a prominent diversified business group in Ethiopia with over two decades of experience in sectors such as furniture and plywood production, hospitality, real estate, technology, and agriculture, is inviting qualified and competent candidates to apply for the following vacant positions at Dukem Furniture Factory, one of its ventures located in Dukem. We are looking for individuals who are eager to contribute to the success and growth of our furniture industry.

• Ensure product quality by implementing and monitoring quality assurance systems specific to plywood and furniture production.

• Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to meet production standards.

• Identify root causes of quality issues and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.

• Monitor factory operations to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations.

• Perform regular risk assessments on machinery, cutting tools, and workspaces.

• Train workers on proper handling of equipment, chemicals (e.g., adhesives), and personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and enforce preventive measures.

• Maintain documentation for quality control, safety checks, and incident reports.

• Ensure fire safety and prevention by monitoring flammable materials, maintaining firefighting equipment, and training staff on emergency response procedures.

• Promote continuous improvement in product quality and workplace safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, safety, health, and environmental roles.

• Strong knowledge of quality control tools, safety protocols, and environmental standards.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• Proficiency in safety and quality software tools is a plus.
