Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and principled Compliance Manager to lead the organization’s compliance function and ensure all business practices meet legal and regulatory standards. This role is key to mitigating risk, safeguarding corporate reputation, and embedding a strong compliance culture across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor local and international regulatory developments affecting company operations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Advise senior management on compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and operational teams to align practices with compliance standards.
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to staff at all levels.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and maintain updated documentation for audits and inspections.

Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in compliance, auditing, or corporate governance are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal auditing, preferably within a diversified or regulated organization.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian regulatory frameworks, labor laws, and business licensing.
  • Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • High integrity, ethical judgment, and a proactive approach to accountability.
