Project Development and M&E Specialist

The Project Development M&E Specialist leads project development and oversee monitoring and evaluation activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data analysis, and evaluation methodologies, with experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating development projects.

KOFIH is seeking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Project Development and M&E Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading project development, overseeing monitoring and evaluation activities, and ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of our projects. The candidate will be responsible for guiding projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope and budget.

  – Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., development studies, public health, project management, M&E).

– At least 18 years of relevant professional experience in the field of health project management or M&E roles following completion of a Master’s degree

– A Bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned fields with at least 20 years of relevant experience in health project management or M&E

  – Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate development projects.

  – Strong understanding of project methodologies and skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  – Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana). 

  – Experience in using M&E software and tools (e.g., DHIS2, [list other relevant software]).

  – Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills.

  – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  – Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data

  – Excellent computer skills including MS word, Excel and Internet browsing 

  – Task-oriented individual, capable of high-stress environment: 

  – Must possess strong social and ethical qualities.
