Assembly & Maintenance Engineer / General Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Assembly & Maintenance Engineer / General Mechanic with strong hands-on experience in machine assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role involves assembling mechanical and electromechanical systems, diagnosing faults, and ensuring machines operate efficiently. Candidates with a diploma, degree, or relevant hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial fields are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Assembly: Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems according to technical drawings and specifications.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in machines.

• Installation & Testing: Assist in machine installation, alignment, and functional testing before commissioning.

• Hands-on Repairs: Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machine components, ensuring precision and reliability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Documentation: Maintain records of assembly, maintenance activities, and any modifications made to machines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.

• Experience: 0- 3+ years of experience in machine assembly, maintenance, or general mechanics.

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in assembly, fitting, and troubleshooting.

• Tools & Equipment: Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Reading Drawings: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Problem-Solving: Quick diagnosis and resolution of mechanical issues.
